Cambridge University Botanic Garden - UK
Sometimes we visit a place and there is just so much to it that we have to exercise serious self-restraint. Our greenhouse tour is something that is very personal to us - it's a project within the project of Haarkon and something we've turned into a bit of a signature of ours... We love to discover new additions to our tour and revisit the familiar, we love the big fancy obvious ones like Kew but we also have a real appreciation for the slightly more achievable lean-tos that we see hidden behind garden walls.
The glasshouse range of the Cambridge University Botanic Garden is somewhere in between; it's extensive, offers a variety of different climates and can keep us occupied for hours and hours but yet feels absolutely within reach and like we could totally find space for one in our garden (we absolutely couldn't in reality we promise you!) But it has that friendly sensibility about it that makes it feel like home.
