Strawberry Lee Plantation (Blacka Moor) - Sheffield

The Strawberry Lee Plantation is a small part of the Blacka Moor reserve just off Hathersage Road (A 625 heading towards Fox House.) It's managed by the Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust

We liked the lush green carpet that crept across the floor and guided your eyes upwards to the canopy. We liked the cool breeze that rustled the birch leaves and the tiny ecosystems created in the moss on fallen trunks.
