Amsterdam in Autumn — a City Guide
We aren’t exactly strangers to Amsterdam but every visit brings us new reasons to keep it high on our ‘favourite cities’ list. It’s a place that has something for everyone and we’re fairly sure that whatever you’re into you could find it here.
Our reason for visiting this time was to photograph some incredible independent shops for Trouva and we’ll share some of the results of that work soon but this post is about what we did outside of ‘work’.
Here are some of the places that we enjoyed:
— Coffee Sometime : the best black tea, incredible coffee & minimalist interior
— Toki : great coffee, even greater food
— Hortus Botanicus : we visit whenever we’re in the city
— Food Hallen : something for everyone and great vibe
— Dim Sum Thing : custard buns YES
— The Good Companion : the tofu fish with wasabi mayo is 10/10
— Saltwater : sustainable clothing/homeware & teahouse
We stayed at Hotel Jakarta during our time in Amsterdam.
