We arrived at the Eden Project as it opened it's doors and it was already an incredibly warm summer morning. We headed straight for the Nest Walkway as we knew that we wanted to be up there before it really did get too hot - we were right to do so as by the time we had enjoyed the over-canopy views and taken numerous pictures of our feet above the forest, the humidity had reached 40% and the canopy had to be closed for health and safety reasons. It's fair to say that we were incredibly thankful for the cooling hut that's tactically placed in the biome - a cold haven to recover from the high temperature and place us in good stead for more exploring.

We loved the rainforest biome purely for the sheer size of it - the planting is so established now and we can't wait to see it develop and grow over the coming years. It's definitely high up on our favourites that we've found on our UK greenhouse tour.

We purchased a combined ticket for the Eden Project that also gave us discounted entry into The Lost Gardens of Heligan, a short drive away.
