Inside the Wildlife Croft on the Isle of Skye — Scotland
An eleven-hour drive split over two days, two McDonald's breakfasts and around seventeen-million toilet stops and we made it. We crossed the Skye Bridge in the last of the sun, filled up on fuel, loaded the car with food and set off to a little place called Drumfearn in the South of Skye to find our Scottish hideaway.
Nestled in the hillside was our little piece of larch-clad heaven:
Wildlife Croft is a spacious one bedroom build that gave us everything that we needed. With the freedom of self-catering and the glorious big windows we felt connected to the outdoors and yet protected from it's changeable plans.
Absolutely worth our 444 mile journey and if you fancy your own trip, you can book your own stay on the Wildlife Croft HERE.
